The Email Transfer, Data Diode Technology automates the transfer of email from lower to higher classifications. It interfaces with SMTP mail servers such as Microsoft Exchange, allowing users on the higher classification to receive email from those on the lower classification.
Email Transfer users within a classified environment can receive both classified and unclassified email within the same inbox, removing the need to monitor both security domains. The technology interfaces with third party content filters/virus scanners ensuring files do not contain malicious content.
